Depositions

Depositions Often the insurance company/employer will decide to take your deposition prior to your case being heard in court or prior to your being referred to an AME or QME. A deposition is a meeting at which the defense attorney will ask you questions about your injury, medical history, past accident history, and other questions under oath before a court reporter. The court report will record the questions and answers in a written transcript. These depositions are very important therefore, you must be sure to be present at your deposition(s) one hour early as specified on your appointment letter sent to you so that you may be properly prepared.
