Applying for Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits is a long and tedious process. It takes weeks for your initial application to be approved, and up to 80% of these are rejected! Most often, the denials are for incomplete work or medical records.

Let them know that your disability occurred while you were on active military duty. In addition to having the necessary information on your medical condition, doctors, and treatments, be sure to provide the address of the military site where your records are kept.

When the Social Security Administration receives your SSDI application, including claims filed online, they will expedite it through all the processing phases.
